PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking force control valve for air brake capable of producing a large control force properly even if air flows out due to damage to an air bellows or a large braking force is required due to overloading. SOLUTION: An air brake comprises an air tank storing compressed air, a load sensing valve connected to an air bellows connected to the air tank for braking force equalizing function, and a brake chamber to which compressed air is supplied by the operation of the load sensing valve for braking action. A braking force control valve is formed so as to be connected to the air tank through a first pipe 26, to the air bellows through a second pipe 28, and to the load sensing valve through a third pipe 30. The first pipe 26 is connected to the third pipe 30, and compressed air passed through the air bellows is supplied to the load sensing valve and, when the air bellows is damaged or overloading occurs, the first pipe 26 is connected to the third pipe 30 to supply compressed air in the air tank directly to the load sensing valve.
