PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a motor of an electrically driven reel for fishing and make the motor into the high-performance one. SOLUTION: This electrically driven reel has a motor case 53 fixed to a reel body, a stator 54 fixed in the motor case 53, a rotor 55 rotatably arranged in the motor case 53, and a spool rotated by the transmission of the rotation of the rotor 55 through a power-transmission device. The stator is formed out of many rod-like permanent magnets 66 arranged on the inner wall surface of the motor case 53.
