<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mandrel for manufacturing a golf club shaft meeting changes in the hardness, the torsion, the kick point and the like quickly and properly, and a golf shaft. SOLUTION: A mandrel for manufacturing a golf shaft is formed such that the tip diameter is 2.5 mm to 5 mm, the rear end diameter is 13 mm to 20 mm, the length is 80 cm to 180 cm, and a round body part (m) with a round section and an angular body part (n) with a five- to twelve-side polygon section are appropriately combined in the longitudinal direction. The length of the round body part (m) is 20 cm to 65 cm, and the length the angular body part (n) is 25 cm to 65 cm. The mandrel can be manufactured by constituting of one of the round body part (m) and one of the angular body part (n), one of the round body part (m) and two of the angular body parts (n), or two of the round body parts (m) and one of the angular body part (n). The golf club shaft is manufactured by winding several layers of carbon fiber nonwoven cloths on the mandrel.</p> |
