PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety and easily perform a work for attaching a stator to a machine in a washing machine for washing, rinsing and dehydrating clothes by suppressing the generation of an unbalance upon dehydration so as to meet the increase of a washing capacity and preventing water from entering a motor even when water overflows from a water vessel. SOLUTION: A washing and dehydrating drum 19 is rotated by a dehydrating shaft 22, its speed is reduced by a speed reducing mechanism 25 and an agitating blade 20 is rotated by a washing shaft 24 coaxial with the dehydrating shaft 22. The rotation of a motor 27 is switched to either the dehydrating shaft 22 or the washing shaft 24 by a clutch mechanism 29. A motor bracket 26 formed in a cup shape is attached to the speed reducing mechanism 25 with an opening part 26a directed downward. The motor 27 is formed in the motor bracket 26, and the speed reducing mechanism 25 and the motor 27 are provided so as to be coaxial with each other. The entrance part of the opening part 26a of the motor bracket 26 is widened more than the inside diameter of an inner part. |
