CONVERTIBLE HOOD DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the system simple and compact in size and low cost by fixing both a forward position and a backward position of an intermediate frame in common with a hood support arm elevating cylinder in a hood with the intermediate frame. SOLUTION: Hood supporting arms 15 and 18 are raised and lowered by a rod 12 of a first cylinder 11. The hood supporting arms 15 and 18 are moved forward and backward by a rod 14 of a second cylinder 13. The rod 12 of the first cylinder 11 is connected to the intermediate frame 6 through an intermediate frame fixing lever 21. The intermediate frame 6 is moved backward through the intermediate frame fixing lever 21 by raising the rod 12, and fixed in position. Also, the frame 6 is moved forward through the intermediate frame fixing lever 21 by lowering the rod 12, and fixed in position.
