PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently recover a liquid coolant even when the difference in the level between a bed and a coolant tank is small. SOLUTION: The liquid coolant after use to be discharged from a bed 3 of a machine tool using the liquid coolant is recovered to a sub tank 25 through a drain pipe 19. Since the drain pipe 19 and the sub tank 25 are evacuated by a dust suction device 21 as an evacuation device, the liquid coolant on the bed 3 of the machine tool is forcibly sucked. The liquid coolant recovered in the sub tank 25 is discharged into a coolant tank 13 by a coolant pump 29, and recovered and purified. The liquid coolant purified in the coolant tank 13 is re-fed to the machine tool. Since the difference in the level between the bed 3 of the machine tool and the coolant tank 13 is reduced by providing the sub tank 25, the floor space can be saved by providing the coolant tank 13 in a high position.
