PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the appearance by fitting the recessed part of a second member to a joint having a welding dent on the side part of the abutting surface abutting on the connecting surface of a first member, and bringing the edge of the recessed part into contact with the connecting surface to cover the welding dent. SOLUTION: A plurality of crushable linear projections 7 with angular sectional profile are formed on the inner surface of the connecting recessed part 6 of a strut 1. A pair of protruding pieces 9 is provided on the inner surface of the strut 1, and a linear projection 10 is formed at the top end surface thereof, and a rail 3 is formed into the same sectional structure as the strut 1. A welding dent 11 is formed on the side part of the butt surface 8 of a joint 2, a linear projection 13 is formed on the side surface of an insert part 5, and a linear projection 14 is formed on the tip-side side surface. The insert part 5 is pushed into the connecting recessed part 6 while crushing the top parts of the linear projections 7, 13 to abut the abutting surface 8 to a connecting surface 4, and the welding is performed within the welding dent 11. The rail 3 is press fitted to the joint 2, and the linear projection 14 and the linear projection 10 on the inner surface of the rail 3 are crushed to connect the both, and an end part 3a is allowed to abut on the connecting surface 4. According to this, the appearance of the connecting part can be improved.
