PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll type fluid machine prevented from a lubrication running-out even after a long-term stop. SOLUTION: In a scroll type fluid machine having a body housing, and a turning scroll and a fixed scroll provided in the body housing so as to be mutually turnable, an oil groove 15 is provided at a sliding surface of a thrust bearing part with which the turning scroll comes in sliding contact, and key grooves 17 of an Oldham's ring are provided at the outer periphery of the sliding surface. The sliding surface of the thrust bearing part is further provided with other oil grooves 23 linearly extending from the oil groove 15 toward the key grooves 17 along the tangent of the oil groove 15 in the rotating direction of the turning scroll.
