PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathing apparatus having a simple structure, having possibility of low cost production, easy to convey, and offering stable bathing. SOLUTION: This bathing apparatus comprises a portable bathtub 2, a prop 13 attached to the tub 2 free to attach and detach, an arm 14 attached to the prop 13 free to attach and detach and also free to turn around the prop 13, a belt 24 and a spool to wind the belt on, attached at the end of the arm 14 to be attachable and detachable, an elevating/descending unit 18 provided with a winding handle 25 or a driving motor to rotate the spool, a hanging device 26 to mount a bathing person engaged at the end of the belt 24 constituting the elevating/descending unit 18, and a member 9 supported on the upper face of the floor to prevent stumbling. The base end is attached at approximately the same installing position of the prop 13 to be attachable and detachable, and the other end is positioned to the orthogonal direction with respect to the length of the bathtub 2.
