PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make heat balance batter compared to a broiling plate with through holes arranged over the whole surface with enough strength and to permit cooking on a wide surface of a griddle for an electric broiler heated by a heater and provided with through holes bored to allow excess oil and gravy to pass through for delicious cooking. SOLUTION: This griddle 5 is provided with through holes 8 bored in a partial area A to allow oil and gravy to pass through. Areas other than the area A provided with the through holes 8 are provided with protruding parts 10 so that continuous recessed parts 11 are formed toward the area A provided with the through holes 8. When meat is cooked in the area other than the area A provided with the through holes 8, excess oil and gravy from the cooked meat flow into the through holes 8 through the recessed parts 11, and the meat can be cooked as deliciously as it is cooked in the area A provided with the through holes 8.
