PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably seat a valve element even in a high flow rate of a liquid and to eliminate possibility of malfunction, by providing a small hole for communicating an inlet liquid passage with the inner bottom portion of a valve chest in a barrier rib between the valve chest and the inlet liquid passage communicating with a valve inlet of the valve chest. SOLUTION: A valve chest member 23 has an inlet pipe 29 constructing a valve chest 27 and a part of an inlet liquid passage. A barrier rib 35 is provided between the inside of the valve chest 27 and the inlet liquid passage. A valve inlet 37 is provided between the upper end of the barrier rib 35 and a lower passage member 24, and a small hole 38 for communicating the bottom portion of the valve chest 27 with the inside of the inlet pipe 29 through a slit 34 is provided at the lower end of the barrier rib 35. When flow of liquid passing from the inlet pipe 29 into the valve chest 27 through the valve inlet 37 rises along the barrier rib 35, pressure of the inner bottom portion of the valve chest 27 becomes negative in order to such liquid in the valve chest 27 at the small hole 38, and the valve element 26 is pressed onto the bottom portion of the valve chest 27 to stabilize the valve element 26.
