PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience and comfort in cooking work by devicing a television to be watched in a cooker using a network. SOLUTION: This cooker is provided with a heating means 11 for cooking food ingredients by heating; an operating means 4 for assigning the control of the cooker; a display means 3 for displaying the control state of the cooker; a control means 14 for controlling each input and output; and a communication means 12 for communicating food cooking information and the like through a network 8. In this case, the heating cooker is provided with a television receiving means 13 for receiving a television broadcast and making a display means 3 display it. The television broadcast can thereby by watched or listened to without taking space, and cooking can be easily carried out by downloading on the spot while watching cooking sequence information provided by a cooking program on television. This makes cooking work enjoyable and pleasant.
