PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope device constituted to reduce the cost of the whole system while improving the shape detecting accuracy for the bending section. SOLUTION: Three magnetic field generating coils 31A, 31B, 31C on the tip side of a shape detecting probe 28 are disposed at the bending section 9. The first coil 31A in the tip position is disposed in a position corresponding to a tip curved piece 18A of the bending section 9, and the third coil 31C is disposed in a position corresponding to a rearmost end curved piece 18B. The second coil 31B is disposed in a middle position between the tip curved piece 18A and the distal and bending piece 18B of the curved part 9.
