PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of at least on of an exhaust gas recalculation device and an intercooler. SOLUTION: This vehicle engine cooling device is constituted such that an engine 3 for a vehicle (an automobile as an example) having at least one of an exhaust gas recalculation device 50a (EGR) and the intercooler 50b of a turbocharger 100 comprises a radiator 9; and a motor-driven pump 53 to covey heat, generated at least at one of the intercooler 50b and the EGR 50a, to the radiator 9. When the engine 3 for an automobile is stopped, operation of the motor-drive pump 53 is continued for a specified period starting from this stop and a coolant 50b cooled by the radiator 9 is introduced to at least one of the EGR 50a and the intercooler 50b to cool the coolant. This constitution stops the motor-driven pump 53 at a point of time when temperature is rapidly reduced to a low temperature.
