PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal-transfer recording medium which is excellent in wear-resistance, thermal-sensitivity and preserving property, and of which the transferring property is favorable even to a label having a low porality such as polystyrene. SOLUTION: As a bonding layer, a polyester resin of which the glass transition point is not less than 70 deg.C and not more than 80 deg.C, and of which the number average molecular weight is 2000 to 8000, and wherein the acid component contains 50 to 80 mol.% of terephthalic acid and 20 to 80 mol.% of isophthalic acid, and the glycol component contains 10 mol.% or more of resin having a bisphenol skeleton, is used. By this constitution, while having a low molecular weight, the glass transition point can be controlled to be in an optimal range, and a thermal-transfer recording medium of which the transferring property is favorable even to a label having a low porality can be presented. |
