PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an agricultural film provided with excellent IR absorptivity and superior light transmissivity by forming the agricultural film so as to contain a hydrotalcite-based compound having at least one anion selected from silicon-, phosphorus- and boron-based poly-oxoacid anions and also at least one other anion, as part and/or all of intercalated anions in the compound. SOLUTION: The agricultural film contains a hydrotalcite-based compound which has at least one anion selected from silicon-, phosphorus- and boron-based poly-oxoacid anions and at least one other anion, as part and/or all of intercalated ions in the compound and is represented by formula I (wherein: M2+ is a divalent ion(s) of at least one metal selected from Zn, Ca and Ni; A is one or more anions selected from silicon-, phosphorus- and boron- based poly-oxoacid anions and part and/or the whole of A is at least one such anion; B is one or more anions other than A; 0<x<=0.5; y1+y2=1, 0<y1<=1 and 0<=y2<1; 0<z1 and 0<z2; and 0<=b<2) or formula II (wherein: G2+ is a divalent ion(s) of at least one metal selected from Mg, Zn, Ca and Ni; A and B are as defined above; 0<y1<=1, 0<=y2<1 and 0.5<=(y1+y2)<=1; x=y1+2y2; z1 and z2 are as defined above; and 0<=b<5).
