PRODUCTION OF SPHERICAL SILICEOUS POROUS BODY AND SPHERICAL SILICEOUS POROUS BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for industrially advantageously producing a spherical siliceous porous body having <=300μm fine particle diameter and the spherical siliceous porous body. SOLUTION: The producing method of the spherical siliceous porous body is by adding an acidic aq. solution into a mixed liquid of an alkoxysilane with a 1-alkylamine while stirring, taking out the produced spherical particle/1- alkylamine combined material and removing the 1-alkylamine from the combined material. The spherical siliceous porous body is composed of spherical particles constituted of the aggregate of many silica fine particles and having the diameter ranging from >=5μm to <=300μm and has many fine pores.
