PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical fabric foot cover which sufficiently attains a main purpose such as the protection of a floor surface. SOLUTION: A fabric leg cover 1 is attached to the leg end 3 of furniture or a chair having a horizontal crosspiece 4 between feet 6. Then, the cover 1 is formed from a counting belt 7 to be wound on the leg 6 over the crosspiece 4 and a protecting belt 8 to be put around a leg end 3 from this belt 7. A buffering plate 14 is provided at a site to be fitted to the end 3 of the belt 8 and slide-contact plate 13 is provided at a site corresponding to the leg 3 at the outer periphery of the belt 8.
