PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily fasten and lock a lock nut with a spring and massively produce it at low price by installing a bow-shaped spring in a spring groove provided in a nut. SOLUTION: A spring groove 1 is formed in this nut 2, a bow-shaped lock spring 3 is inserted therein, a bolt screw part is inserted therein from a bolt hole 4, and the nut 2 is fastened therein. As fastening it further, the face of the spring 3 abuts on the bolt head face, pressurizes the face to extend an A point 6 and a B point 7 outward and abuts on the groove 1 so that the nut 2 is prevented from rotated. At the same time, the holes in an A board 8 and a B board 9 are headed for the A point 6 and the B point 7 to be deviated outward, and inserted bolt screw part is fastened and locked. This constitution allow this lock nut to be used by just inserting the bolt into a material to be fastened and the hole in the lock spring and fastening the nut thereto, springs are easily produced by a press machine, and this is superior in productivity.
