<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively reinforce a handle hole made in a sheet such as corrugated board, by making in a side of a cushion a handle hole having a reinforcing flap turned up and folded close to a packing band and by bringing the packing band into contact with a turned-up fold inside the reinforcing flap. SOLUTION: In cushions attached to both right and left ends of a pack, a sheet such as corrugated board is bent, handle holes 2 are thereby made, and the cushions are so accommodated in an outer case 5 so as to close the right and left openings. In the case, a reinforcing flap 8 turned up and folded is formed on the upper edge of each handle hole 2. A packing band 7 is put round so as to be in contact with a turned-up fold 9 inside the reinforcing flap 8, and also notch recesses 10 for locking the packing band 7 are formed in both ends of the outer case 5. Thus, when the pack is lifted by hooking hands round the handle holes 2, the turned-up fold 9 of each reinforcing flap 8 is supported by the packing band 7 and force can be distributed, therefore it makes it difficult for the handle holes 2 to rip.</p> |
