CELL LINE PRODUCING HUMAN ANTI-C-REACTIVE PROTEIN MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY, ITS PREPARATION AND MONOCLONAL ANTIBODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject cell line by fusing a splenic cell of a mammal immunized with a C-reactive protein(CRP) with a melanoma cell and then by detecting a produced antibody regarding its binding capacity to CRP, a complement and serum amyloid P by an immunity measuring method. SOLUTION: This method for preparing a human anti-CRP monoclonal antibody is to prepare a fused cell through the cell fusion of a splenic cell of a mammal such as a mouse or a rat each immunized with a CRP with a cell line derived from a mammalian melanoma such as a mouse melanoma-derived P3X63-Ag 8.653 and to detect an antibody produced from the fused cell regarding its binding capacity to CRP, C1q complement and serum amyloid P by an immunity measuring method in order to clone a cell line producing an monoclonal antibody specific to CRP in the fused cell. The objective human anti-CRP monoclonal antibody-producing cell line useful e.g. for the inspection of CRP of an acute phase reactant is obtained.
