PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for injection-molded/expanded shoe soles which is incorporated with heat-expandable microcapsules but causes no discoloration, when it is applied to the manufacture of injection-molded/expanded shoes, so that expanded shoe soles of satisfactory properties can be prepared. SOLUTION: Heat-expandable microcapsules and a dibutyltin maleate polymer and a mono-and di-methyltin (iso-octyl thioglycolate) salt as stabilizers are incorporated in a composition for injection-molded/expanded shoe soles which is composed primarily of a flexible polyvinyl chloride resin or a styrene-based thermoplastic rubber. When the resultant composition is injected into a cavity for molding a shoe sole formed by a lastmold or the like for pulling-over a shoe upper to expand the composition, a shoe sole with lighter weight and more uniform expansion can be molded with high productivity. |
