PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need of attachment and removal at each sporting installation when playing a plurality of sports, and to enable easy recognition of the whole calories consumed. SOLUTION: This system for measurement of consumed calories mainly comprises a counter 14 put on the body of a sporting person and a data readout apparatus 16 at each sporting installation, which is provided with a switching means 68. The switching means switches the sporting mode of the counter 14 when an examinee enters the sporting installation. The counter 14 measures the quantity of motion by the measuring means, which is converted into consumed calories corresponding to each sporting mode by a controlling means.
