摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of shortage in a booster negative pressure. SOLUTION: In a brake ECU, when a stop switch is turned ON in a given time T1 after an accelerator pedal is released, rapid brake operation is decided (steps 106-112) and a negative pressure generation demand signal is transmitted toward an engine ECU (a step 104). When the engine ECU receives the signal, a throttle valve is closed in a range in which stratified combustion can be maintained. In a different embodiment, the brake ECU transmits a stoichiometric switching demand signal toward the engine ECU when a vehicle is run with a shift position being in an N-range or a neutral state. When the engine ECU receives the signal, the combustion state of the engine is switched to stoichiometric combustion.
