PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mounting structure for an elastic bearing body without using any welding means when the existing bridge rigid bearing device is remodeled into an elastic bearing device and, at the same time, to easily carry out remodeling work thereof. SOLUTION: First stop pieces 4 and 4 are provided in front and rear of the upper surface of an upper mounting plate 33 in an elastic bearing body 3, and second stop pieces 5 and 5 provided in front and rear of the upper surface of a base plate 2. When the elastic bearing body 3 is inserted between an upper bearing member 1 and the base plate 2, the first and second stop pieces 4 and 5 are used as guidance, and the elastic bearing body 3 is fitted to a specific position. In order to prevent the elastic bearing body 3 from being slipped off, confining devices 7 and 7 are provided to the upper surfaces on both sides of the base plate 2 in a detachable manner.
