PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer method to obtain a decorative material having no ink floating at a transfer layer transferred to a base material to be transferred in the case of transferring the transfer layer from a transfer sheet to the base material by projecting solid particles. SOLUTION: In the method for transferring comprising the steps of placing a transfer sheet S having a support m and a transfer layer toward its transfer layer side at a rugged surface side of a base material B to be transferred having the rugged surface, projecting solid particles to the support side of the sheet S, deforming the sheet S by utilizing the collision pressure, and transferring the transfer layer to the material B, the transfer layer of the sheet S is transferred to the material B by projecting the initial solid particles P, then the transferred base material B is covered only with the support n of the sheet S, and the particles P are again projected and press bonded thereto.
