PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost by facilitating the mounting of a cylindrical body for supporting a tilting spindle on a body made of sheet metal. SOLUTION: This rocker arm is provided with plastic deformation chamfers 22 comprising the shaft end of the inner hole of a cylindrical body 8 pressurized and caulked after driving the cylindrical body 8 for supporting a tilting support spindle into the through holes 14 and 14 of a body 5 made of sheet metal. Since the chamfers 22 and 22 to be provided at both opening ends of the inner hole of the cylindrical body 8 can thus be obtained by pressurization and caulking, mounting work can be done more simply and quickly compared with that by grinding as shown in a conventional example.
