摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent non-stabilization of an internal combustion engine after completion of starting during low temperature, in a cylinder injection type internal combustion provided with a main fuel injection valve to inject fuel directly in a combustion chamber and an auxiliary fuel injection valve to inject fuel in an intake passage. SOLUTION: This internal combustion engine is formed such that even when starting of an engine is completed (t1), a subinjector continues injection until the number NE of revolutions of an engine exceeds the specified number STJNE of revolutions (t2). The specified number STJNE of revolutions is the number of revolutions higher than a first decision value NE1, and the side where a cooling water temperature THW is low is set to a higher value compared with the high side. Thereby, even after completion of starting, injection of the subinjector is continued and sufficiently atomized fuel is fed to a combustion chamber. Besides, the more temperature is lower, the more injection of fuel from the subinjector is continued for a longer period, whereby temperature is reduced to a very low value, rotation of an engine is stabilized and the increase of the smooth number of revolutions is realized.
