PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swing prevention mechanism of a simple structure which stably holds the lower part of an overhang door to prevent its lateral swing, thus permitting smooth travel, and maintaining a closed attitude achieved by the door. SOLUTION: In an overhang door A hung on an upper fixed rail 2 via a traveling element 3 in such a way as to freely travel, a roller 5 resiliently pressed against a lower floor face by means of a spring at all times is mounted at the lower end of the door plate 1 of the overhang door in such a way as to be capable of rotational movement along the advancing direction of the overhang door, and at least the outer peripheral grounding face part of the roller 5 is formed from a material with great friction resistance, such as rubber.
