PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot spring water production device enabling to produce real hot spring water having characteristics due to minerals in genuine hot spring water in a large quantity and inexpensively. SOLUTION: City water passed through an activated carbon filter to remove chlorine is made into hot water at a hot water production part and is fed to a bathtub, etc., via a gas-liquid mixer, and also a portion of the hot water is boiled at a boiling tank to generate steam and the steam is reacted with mineral porous bodies 39 housed in a pressure container 35 to produce mineral ion steam, and the steam is forcedly mixed with the hot water in the gas-liquid mixer to produce hot spring water. Many kinds of the mineral porous bodies 39 are filled in the lower room 53 of the pressure container 35 in bulk, and a cartridge 59 in which the mineral porous bodies 30 of kinds providing characteristic hot spring quality are chosen and housed is selectively loaded in the upper room 55. Then the real hot spring water having preferred hot spring quality can be produced in a large quantity and inexpensively.
