PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reclining system which requires small operation force at the unlocking and is highly strong against a rear load applied to a seat back. SOLUTION: A reclining system 20 is provided with a base plate 21 having guide parts 41 and 42, a shaft 30, a rotation plate 22 having an internal gear 66, slide gears 70 and 71 and a cam member 72. The member 72 has a pair of hook part 100 to be engaged with the receiving parts 87 of the gears 70 and 71. When the member 72 is rotated in the direction of unlocking, the part 100 and the parts 8 are formed to move the gears 70 and 71 in a direction of canceling a rotational moment operated to the gears 70 and 71 by a rear load applied to a seat back. A supporting part for suppressing moving of the gears 70 and 71 to the direction of the rotational moment is provided at the opposite part of the member 72 and the gears 70 and 71.
