PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a diet health food, diet health drink or cosmetic, each by making use of devil's tongue. SOLUTION: This food, drink or cosmetic is obtained by the following process: mannan flour or sliced dry devil's tongue bulbs are ground and preliminarily mixed with tea powder, tangle powder, stevia leaf powder, soybean milk, cow milk, a nonrorera (depending on pronunciation) powder, green laver, powder of Panax notoginseng (Burk) F.H.Chen as a crude drug and enzyme, and then incorporated with amino acid(s) and/or salt(s) thereof such as sodium glutamate, inosinic acid, guanylic acid and/or alanine, and about 10 wt.% of the mixture thus prepared is incorporated with 90 wt.% of hot water followed by carrying out a mastication to make a total 100 wt.% of a paste; subsequently, 120 wt.% of hot water is further added to the paste thus prepared followed by agitation, and as necessary, addition of limewater or alkaline water, the resultant mixture is then cast into a mold and solidified. By the way, the cosmetic is a foundation cosmetic where the mannan flour is colored. |
