PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine capable of protecting a player's profit when the power is cut off and a method and system for backing the power up. SOLUTION: A backup battery 44 is connected to a power cable to which plural pachinko machines 1 are connected, and a backup switch 30 is provided on the power line inside each pachinko machine 1. When the commercial power is cut off, the backup switch 30 of a pachinko machine 1 in a jackpot condition is kept on, with the switches 30 of the other pachinko machines 1 to be switched off. Since a player can keep playing a pachinko game in this way until the jackpot condition is finished even when the power is cut off, the player doesn't have to stop the flow of the game advantageous to the player or the luck on the way, so that the player's profit can be sufficiently protected.
