PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for melt-spinning a polyamide, which reduces the staining of nozzles on the melt-spinning, elongates a period until the breakage of filaments, and enables the stable melt-spinning of the polyamide. SOLUTION: The characteristics of the method for melt-spinning a polyamide comprises that a copolyamide containing a dicarboxylic acid and a diamine having a tertiary amino group and a primary amino group at copolymerization rates (a) and (b) of >=0.15 mole and >=0.05 mole, respectively, per 100 moles of caprolactam is used as a raw material polymer, and that the copolymerization rates (a) and (b) satisfy the inequality: (b)>=[(a)-(7-1/d)/25] in the relation with the single filament fineness d(dtex) of the polyamide yarn to be obtained.
