PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cartridge for thermal transfer sheet in which a hardening protective member of such a size as corresponding to the outer shape of a card board can be stripped off from a support when a face image or a character recording image on the card board is protected by the hardening protective member while suppressing occurrence of bur at the outer circumferential end of a hardening protective layer. SOLUTION: The cartridge for thermal transfer sheet comprises a tape containing section 21, a transfer foil core 51 (51A, 51B) provided in the tape containing section 21 in order to feed out a thermal transfer sheet 200 applied with a hardening protective member through adhesive, and a driven roller section 22 for stripping fixed to a specified position of the tape containing section 21, wherein the hardening protective member of such a size as corresponding to the outer shape of a card board is stripped off, at the driven roller section 22, from the thermal transfer sheet 200 being fed from the transfer foil core 51 (51A, 51B). According to the structure, occurrence of bur at the outer circumferential end of the hardening protective layer can be suppressed significantly when the hardening protective member is transferred.
