PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a mold for high precision casting having a high dimensional precision by immersing a porous model having a shape corresponding to a casting into mold material slurry, forming a mold material layer part with adhering a solid component, etc., to a model surface layer part, collapsing/ removing a model inside with heating and forming a casting cavity with firing a mold material layer. SOLUTION: A porous model having a shape corresponding to a casting is produced, in addition, slurry is prepared, the porous model is immersed into the slurry. A mold material layer part is formed with adhering the slurry on a model surface part, by firing after drying, the model inside is collapsed/ removed, further, by firing the mold material layer part, the mold having a casting cavity in the inside is obtained. Instaneous molding with utilizing a capillary phenomenon of the porous model is made possible, a mold manufacturing time is shortened as well.
