PURPOSE: A refrigerator having double door is provided to efficiently protect the cooling air existing in the refrigerating compartment, while achieve improved use convenience and reduce manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator comprises an outer door(2) and an inner door(3), and the inner door is attached to a refrigerator body through a first magnet(9) mounted along the circumference of the inner door, and the outer door is attached to the inner door through a second magnet(8) mounted along the circumference of the outer door. Hinges for the outer door and inner door operate in the same axis, such that the inner door and the outer door open/close in an independent manner. The magnetic force produced from the first magnet and which acts between the inner door and the refrigerator body is stronger than the magnetic force produced from the second magnet and which acts between the outer door and the inner door. Thus, only the outer door is open when the outer door is pulled, and both the inner door and outer door are open when the inner door is pulled.
