PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the scanner part and the structure from being deformed during carriage or transportation even in case of a structure where the sheet discharge section has two open sides. SOLUTION: A recess 18 for fixing an end face (not shown) is made in a sheet discharge cover 17 on the bottom of the sheet discharge section 4. A supporting member 27 is fitted, at the lower end part thereof, in the recess 18 and, at the upper end part thereof, in an arm 5 for supporting a scanner section 3. Consequently, the supporting member (reinforcing member) 27 is positioned between the sheet discharge cover 17 on the upper surface of the printer section and the lower surface of the scanner section 3. |
