PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the flavor of a drinkable liquid (including a Sake liquid, seasoning liquid, plant-based beverage and water) simply. SOLUTION: The method for treating a drinkable liquid L comprises repeating a passing treatment of the drinkable liquid L through a porous glass material having many fine pores of 0.1-25.0 μm pore diameters by at least >=2 times, or performing a penetrating treatment by using the glass material becoming 2.1-5.0 mm total thickness after penetrating the liquid L through the porous glass material.
