PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grease improved in cleanness and quietness by compounding a synthetic oil mixture comprising a synthetic ester oil and a synthetic poly-α-olefin oil in a specified ratio with a thickener mixture comprising a higher fatty acid sodium salt and a higher fatty acid lithium salt, an antioxidant, and an additive to reduce the boundary lubrication state. SOLUTION: An ester oil is mixed with a synthetic poly-α-olefin oil having a pour point of -40 deg.C or lower, a flash point of 200 deg.C or higher, a viscosity index of 100 or higher, and a viscosity (40 deg.C) of 40-300 cSt in a wt. ratio of (5:2)-(1:4). The resultant synthetic oil mixtuer is compounded with 15-35 wt.% thickener mixture prepared by mixing a higher fatty acid sodium salt and a higher fatty acid lithium salt in a wt. ratio of (2:5)-(5:2), 0.3-8.0 wt.% antioxidant prepared by mixing an aminic antioxidant and a phenolic antioxidant in a wt. ratio of (3:10)-(10:3), and 0.5-7.0 wt.% additive to reduce the boundary lubrication state.
