PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain both a polyester capable of providing a molded product, especially a large-sized blow molded product excellent in continuous moldability for a long period and further transparency and heat resistance and the molded product comprising the polyester. SOLUTION: This polyester comprises a main recurring unit which is ethylene terephthalate and the polyester is melt molded to provide a molded product capable of exhibiting the following characteristics (a) to (c): (a) 1.0-4.0% rate of dimensional change measured by a thermomechanical analysis(TMA), (b) <=10% haze and (c) <=165 deg.C crystallization temperature at the time of heat-up.
