PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize molding without crack even in a shape such as a flat plate-like, a columnar shape or the like having a large aspect ratio by melting a power-like or granular higher fatty acid metallic salt, and injection the molten salt in a cavity of an injection mold at a predetermined injecting pressure and a predetermined injecting speed. SOLUTION: In the case of manufacturing a higher fatty acid metallic salt block used as a lubricant, abrasives, a cleaning assistant, a developing assistant or the like in a business machine or the like for an electrostatic copier or the like, a powder-like or a granular higher fatty acid metallic salt is melted, the molten salt is injection molded in a cavity 25 of a mold 1 having an upper mold 11 and a lower mold from an injection molding machine 31 through a sprue 12, thereby obtaining a block of a predetermined shape. In this case, a higher fatty acid metal is preferably melted at a temperature higher by 5 deg.C than its melting point and injection molded. Its injecting pressure is preferably 10 to 100 kg/cm2, and its injecting speed is preferably set to a range of 1 to 40%.
