PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the smoothness at end faces and to solve the sealing defect of elasticity at the time of sealing by providing both ends of a filter cartridge, which is constituted by cross winding belt-like nonwoven fabrics consisting of thermoplastic fibers around a perforated cylindrical body, and providing end face with sealing parts. SOLUTION: Both ends of the filter cartridge 1 which is constituted by cross winding the belt-like nonwoven fabrics consisting of the thermoplastic fibers around the perforated cylindrical body are provided with the end face sealing parts which are smooth and have the elasticity at sealing. At this time, the thermoplastic fibers after to the fibers consisting of a thermoplastic resin and the belt-like nonwoven fabric refers to the nonwoven fabrics narrow in width which are formed by cutting, etc., of a nonwoven fabric having a large width. The perforated cylindrical body 2 refers to the cylindrical body which plays the role of a core material of the filter cartridge 1. Further, the filter cartridge 1 is formed by putting the bundled belt-like nonwoven fabrics 3 in congestion into the cartridge and integrating the bundled belt-like nonwoven fabric 7 near the ends with the fused parts 4 to improve the smoothness and elasticity.
