PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize omission of processing of placing joint. SOLUTION: According to the method for placing joint, a pre-cast concrete layer 10 is placed, and after hardening of the pre-cast concrete layer 10, a post-cast concrete layer 12 is placed on an upper side of the pre-cast concrete layer 10. At the time of placing the pre-cast concrete layer 10, when placed concrete reaches a location proximate to a joint portion 14, reinforcing short fibers 16 against shearing are mixed in the concrete. The short fibers 16 are cut to the length of about 2 to 6 cm. The mixing ratio of the short fibers 16 to concrete is set, e.g. in the range of 0.5 to 1.5% by voluminal ratio.
