PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endurable sleeve for an aluminum die casting which has an excellent anti-erosion characteristics against molten aluminum and no possibility of generation of loosening or break due to a thermal expansion and thermal contraction by providing a lining material of a Co-based alloy which is composed of a specified wt.% Ni, Cr, and W, the balance Co and impurities on the inner face of a steel cylindrical body. SOLUTION: The lining material is a Co-based alloy containing, by wt., 5-15% Ni, 15-25% Cr, 10-25% W and the balance Co with impurities. A cylinder sleeve 1 obtained by lining an inner surface of a steel cylindrical body 2 with the lining material 3 of a Co-based alloy of thickness of, for example, 2.5 mm and providing a pouring port 4 for molten steel on its upper part is connected with a fixed mold 5. Preferably, C in the impurities is not greater than 0.2 wt.%, the inner surface of the steel cylindrical body and the Co-based lining material are integrated by a metal diffusion joining, the Co-based alloy lining material is a nonporous sintered body formed by a hot static water pressure press and a solid lubricant is uniformly dispersed in the sintered body, and one or more kinds of powder selected from MoS2, WS2, and others are dispersed as solid lubricants.
