PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate guide device of shape steel rolling equipment which copes with a change of a height/thickness of a flange/web of a material to be rolled without changing a guide main body, in which a drive means is not positioned right under a rolling line and which has a simple construction and easy maintenance. SOLUTION: In an intermediate guide device 10, which is arranged between mill stands to roll a material to be rolled to a shape steel and guides a material to be rolled between mills, the device has a pair of upper/lower shape steel guide 22, 23 which are slidably in up/down direction mounted to guide members 20 arranged on a pair of slide bases 12, 13 to reciprocate orthogonal to a rolling line/in the horizontal direction for a rolling center R and are arranged with shape steel guide faces 56-59 to abut on part of the upper/rear external faces of the material to be rolled respectively from up/down directions, and left/right shape steel guide width adjusting means 14, 15 to reciprocate the slide bases 12, 13 and upper/lower shape steel guide elevation means 28, 35 to elevate the upper/lower shape steel guides 22, 23.
