PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To newly secure a proper land for a landfill site, and to reduce the amount of waste by promoting the recycling of the waste. SOLUTION: In this method, a wall body 2 is built on an abrasion platform 1 expanding at the sea side of cliff seashore, or in the vicinity of the offing so as to face a sea cliff 3, and waste is dumped onto a landfill space 4 formed between the wall body and the sea cliff 3. Especially in this landfill space 4, the waste mainly comprising organic substances obtained by classification is subjected to the biological degradation. Furthermore, the landfill space 2 is partitioned into a plurality of landfill sections 6, 7 with an intermediate wall 5 built to connect the wall body 2 with the sea cliff 3, and the waste mainly comprising organic substances and the waste mainly comprising inorganic substances are separatingly dumped in each landfill section.
