PURPOSE: A digital still camera capable of photographing infrared and ultraviolet regions is provided to take a photograph of an object corresponding to a selected region of lights using one camera. CONSTITUTION: A digital still camera capable of photographing infrared and ultraviolet regions includes an operation key input part(11) for outputting a signal corresponding to a selected wavelength region of lights, the first light-receiving unit(100) for outputting an image inputted according to lights corresponding to the infrared region as an electric video signal, and the second light-receiving unit(200) for outputting an image inputted according to lights corresponding to the ultraviolet region as an electric video signal. The digital still camera further includes the third light-receiving unit(300) for outputting an image inputted according to lights corresponding to the visible ray region as an electric video signal, a video signal processor for selecting one of the electric video signals, removing a noise component contained in the selected signal, and processing the signal, and an operation controller for outputting a control signal to the video signal processor to allow the processor to process a video signal corresponding to a wavelength region of light selected by a user.
