PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric blower having an impeller of high efficiency and high pressure under the conditions restricted by dimensions and rotating speed, and provide a vacuum cleaner mounted with the electric blower. SOLUTION: An impeller 106 is formed as a mixed flow type, and at least one of a shroud face 303 and a hub face 304 is deflected from a diagonal flow direction 307 toward an axial flow direction 306 toward a passage outlet. Bending loss and secondary flow loss within a meridian plane are reduced within a limited diameter or rotating speed to increase pressure and efficiency, and flow velocity distribution and turbulence are suppressed to reduce noise. Furthermore, air can be sucked even with the increase of resistance by the characteristic of the mixed flow impeller.
