PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent poor operation at reset operation of a closer mechanism. SOLUTION: This driving controller for a door closer device is formed in such a constitution that a control means has a PWM control circuit for controlling a PWM so that the drive of a driving mechanism is repeated on and off at high speed, and a timer circuit for clocking elapsed time at the reset operation of a closer mechanism. When the closer mechanism does not arrive at an original position even if the elapsed time clocked by the timer circuit elapses a driving time set beforehand, the drive of driving mechanism is controlled to perform the PWM control with the PWM control circuit.
